We have made several changes to the display of listings on Homes.com to promote opportunities for buyers to safely connect with a real estate professional virtually.
Over 600,000 listings on Homes.com currently have an automated virtual tour, most of which are sourced from the data feeds provided by our MLS Partners. These tours are now prominently displayed as an overlay on the first image of the photo gallery, drawing attention to their availability.
Many agents have started providing one-on-one video tours of listings. Last week we added a new “Request a Video Tour” button on listing detail pages to help agents connect with buyers interested in scheduling a video tour. A video tour can also be recorded by an agent and added as a virtual tour, as a one-to-many marketing tool.
Virtual Open Houses
We have received notice from a number of MLSs who have added Virtual Open House schedules to our data feed. We are in the process of mapping those new fields and the information will soon begin displaying on Homes.com. If you have this data available and would like it to display with your listings on Homes.com, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
